  7.     The celebrator insisted it wasn't quite his 78th birthday.
  8. Rather, said former President Ronald Reagan, it was "the 39th
  9. anniversary of my 39th birthday." And what was all the talk
  10. about retirement? "Two weeks ago, I went into retirement,"
  11. Reagan told students at the University of Southern California
  12. last week. "Am I glad that's over! I just didn't like it. Took
  13. all the fun out of Saturdays. So here I am, saddled up and
  14. ready to ride again." At his U.S.C. "coming-out party," Reagan
  15. said he would campaign for a balanced budget and a line-item
  16. veto. He also said he would fight for the repeal of the 22nd
  17. Amendment, which limits Presidents to two terms. Aw, he misses
  18. the White House already!
